07 000APPARCHITECT est une plateforme web permettant de créer des applications natives simples pour iOS (iPhone et iPad) sans coder. Très facile d’utilisation et intuitif, le site web d’AppArchitect est un véritable éditeur WYSIWYG en ligne pour la création d’application ! Il vous permet de combiner des éléments d’interface par drag-and-drop et d’en paramétrer le contenu dans une seule et même fenêtre. Vous pouvez bien entendu ajouter vos propres images via une fenêtre modale d’upload intégrée dans l’interface. La barre latérale, sur la droite, propose différents éléments pour construire votre application, que vous pouvez insérer simplement par glisser/déposer où vous le souhaitez.

Ne rêvons pas, les ‘briques’ d’interface proposées ne vous permettrons pas de créer un jeux pour iPad, ni même un magazine, mais l’ambition de fabriquer une application ‘comme on créerait une présentation powerpoint’ (sic!) (dixit le site web d’AppArchitect) est tout à fait intéressante, et montre combien l’idée même de la conception d’une application a évolué au cours de ces dernières années.

  • AppArchitect requires no understanding of programming to create a mobile app. You simply drag & drop components and customize them on the screen. The process is very similar to using PowerPoint.
  • During our beta period AppArchitect is completely free! As we get closer to the official release we will publish our pricing information which is not yet determined. We are estimating that we will have plans at around $40/month and Professional package at $100/month. Please note that we expect AppArchitect to remain Free for at least until February 2014. All Apps published during the beta period, will remain free.
  • With AppArchitect you can build Apps for iOS: iPhone and iPad. Android support is on our product roadmap and we expect to bring it to the market in the future.
  • Apps built with AppArchitect are native.
  • A native mobile app is built for a particular device and its mobile OS so that it has ability to use the latest technology available on device-specific hardware and software. However, a web mobile app is built with HTML so that it runs in any mobile web browser across different mobile OS. Native Apps offer the best look, feel and performance.
  • AppArchitect provides an AppArchitect Preview App, which could be downloaded at Apple’s iTunes App Store.

  • You have the option to publish under our account, or you can download the binary and submit it under your own Apple Developer Account.
  • We provide documentation and video tutorials to help you with the process of submitting the app on your own.
  • Yes, you can have a paid App. To do this you will need to have your own Apple Developer Account. If you would like to make your application paid, you will have to download the binary and publish it under your own Apple Developer Account. You can set the price to be anything you like. After that, the app is entirely yours so payment is done based on standard Apple guidelines.
  • Apple requires an Apple Developer account that costs $99/year. Apple Developer Program members are able to submit their applications to the iTunes App Store, where they can either publish their application for free, or sell their product to end-users. Please refer http://developer.apple.com/programs/ios and register as an iOS developer.
  • It usually takes 5-10 business days for Apple to review each new application. Updates take 3-6 business days.
