Automatically adapts to any screen size
The quick fix for this was to pad widgets with black bars to center them on wider screens, or to scale them down on smaller screens. This wasn’t ideal, so with this new release, BookWidgets made all widgets « responsive », meaning, they automatically adapt to any screen size, giving you a fullscreen experience on any tablet or computer.
More customizations controls for all users
Every widget comes with a design out of the box, so you can focus on adding top-notch content. For customers on the School or Publisher Pro plan, BookWidgets always had design customization controls, enabling you to tweak the design to your liking.
Enhancements
- ActivePlot: you can add multiple formula to a widget, which can be toggled on/off.
- Crossword: crossword widgets can now submitted or shared by mail
- Quiz/Worksheet: you can easily duplicate questions, or copy them from one Quiz/Worksheet to another.
- Quiz/Worksheet/Whiteboard: added optional ‘share’ button which allows to email your work to anyone.
- Spreadsheet: spreadsheets can now be submitted or shared by mail
- Worksheet widgets can now be configured for vertical books.
Bugfixes
- Flashcards: allow card contents to scroll if required.
- GoogleMaps: fixed problem when many hotspots are provided by address.
- GoogleMaps: support for extra Google Maps URL format.
- HotspotImage: better positioning and display of popups.
- HotspotImage: fixed issue where hotspots were not working if placed close together.
- MindMap: added localization of ‘Tap to edit’.
- Quiz/Worksheet: bullets for match questions were sometimes not in right location.
- Quiz/Worksheet: fixed problem where numeric question answers were not always layed out correctly.
