Virtual Desktop is an application developed for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive that let’s you use your computer in VR. You can browse the web, watch movies, Netflix or even play games on a giant virtual screen.

By efficiently replicating your desktop into the Rift, Virtual Desktop allows you to see your desktop on a giant virtual screen. This allows you to launch VR games and resume from them seamlessly. You can also browse the web, watch movies or even play non-VR games. You can use your desktop in custom environments, including a home theater which is especially useful for watching movies. Virtual Desktop also supports hardware accelerated playback of 360° / 180° videos, 360 photos and the ability to watch 3D Side-By-Side content.
